Again

I'm behind. Again.

Mom, Meg, and McKenzie were here two weekends ago and we had quite the sun and fun filled time! Lots of pool time Friday, then 6 hours at the beach Saturday left me quite burned by Sunday. I loved the time with the girls and Matt enjoyed his time on the golf trip!

Last weekend was Miley's 4th birthday party- Frozen themed at the pool! It was so cute. I love it when all the cousins get together and play and the adults can sit around and chat.

This weekend was pretty chill for us- no plans! Friday night was movie night, then yesterday we ran a few errands then headed up to hang out on the boat with Molly, Craig, Emily, and Matt's parents. So hot outside, even on a moving boat! Steven and Caylee stayed with us last night since Caylee's fam is vacationing on the island, so got to visit with them over breakfast this morning before heading off our own way. Matt and I had nursery at church this morning and they went back to the beach for a bit. They graciously took us to dinner before heading back to Augusta and we finished up the evening watching the US soccer game- intense!

Whoa...

...I'm behind.

We've had two pretty jam packed weekends and there's another on the horizon!
So let's go ahead and catch up..

Two weekends ago was Memorial Day weekend. Matt and I kicked off the weekend by welcoming my mom, sister, and niece into town. Saturday morning Meagan, McKenzie, and I met up with all my sweet sis-in-laws and their kiddos for pool time! Love chatting it up with those ladies and watching the kids play with each other.

Afterwards, we met up with mom back at the apartment complex and took off for more pool time.

We stayed for a few more hours before McKenzie and I took off for Matt's parents house to hang out with the family, grill out, and play fun games.

Sunday morning Meg and I went for a run (Matt avoided all the estrogen of the weekend by staying at his parents) then took Macie for a walk to get coffee and breakfast. My friends Lea and Lindsey had come into town the night before, so the 6 of us took off for the beach. We stayed there allllll day because it felt so good outside! Perfect beach weather. We headed home around 4 to get ready for dinner. We ate at the Dispensary and listened to live (not good) music, then got frozen yogurt for dessert before calling it a night.

Monday morning called for more pool time before a thunderstorm rolled in. Lindsey and Lea (LOVE them!) headed back to Atlanta while mom and sis waited out the storm. Pretty much sums up our weekend! Lots of girl time and sun!

This past weekend was more chill for us. We played golf Saturday, had a dinner date at a sweet pizza place downtown, then met up with Scott and Megan for drinks at R&D's- a sweet wine bar we love!

Sunday morning was church, lunch with Scott, Megan, Chance, and Gracie Bea, errands, and cleaning. We met up with Dr. Berrigan, Al, Jen, and Josh for an amazing dinner on the beach. Dr. B invited Jen and I (and the husbands) to this dinner she won in an auction to help us celebrate nurses week. It was so fun!

Monday came a little too fast, but this week is flying by!

National running day was Wednesday and I squeezed in a pretty good 4-mile run to celebrate :)

My mom, sister, and McKenzie are on their way to Bluffton for a girls weekend since the boys are off on a golf trip. I'm hoping the weather is good to us this weekend!
