2 weeks

Two weeks from today we will be in our new house! 

It might not be move-in ready but our last day at the apartment is the 3rd, so it better be close!

We went out there today and did some yard work, boo. The gnats were off the chain! Macie dealt with the heat with a lot of this...

Molly, Craig, Emily, Jackson, and Tucker came by on their boat and Molly got to see the inside of the house for the first time. Then Scott brought Cooper by and chatted for a bit. Macie got to see 3 of her doggie cousins ;)

Rewinding a bit...last weekend we went up to Atlanta for Matt's cousins wedding. Very fun weekend spent with the Thomas family! We have two more weddings to attend this year- one in August and another in October. 

This past Friday night we spent time with Maw, who was in town for the weekend. 

Then Saturday morning I watched Chance and Gracie Bea so Megan could run errands. I got to see all my Thomas side nieces/nephews in one weekend!  

Up next- my mom and sister are coming to help clean next weekend and Brandi's baby shower brunch for Taylor!

July. And it's becoming a habit...

Oh, hey July. This summer is flying by! Must mean we're having fun ;)

I'm making it a bad habit of not posting anything, ever. I forget. 

We celebrated Chance's 3rd birthday 2 weekends ago, then celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary! We had dinner at May River Grill, followed by a few drinks at R&Ds. We wrapped that weekend up with church and our usual errands.

This past weekend was 4th of July, so my folks, Meg, and McKenzie came up for the long weekend. We spent Friday and Saturday at the beach, then the outlets Sunday. We watched a LOT of Modern Family in between the storms. We also rented Lone Survivor Saturday night; that movie is sad! 

Matt and I finally closed on the house yesterday! I'm supposed to be packing but all the boxes we got from the garage have spiders so I'm taking a break before making a Target run. I don't like spiders. We should move in the first weekend in August and I'm pumped!!
