Running in 2013

One of my goals for 2013 was to keep track of my running mileage and I succeeded! I logged all my runs in a run keeper app and also wrote it in my planner; I do better when I can see my progress.

Here is a fun-to-me, probably boring-to-you recap :)

January- 100.53 miles
February- 81.39 miles
March- 91.63 miles
April- 89.99 miles
May- 49.68 miles
June- 69.15 miles
July- 74.11 miles
August- 105.41 miles
September- 85.05 miles
October- 61.07 miles
November- 59.75 miles
December- 38.57 miles

Total for the year- 906.33
Goal for next year- 1,000

You can tell the months I was injured or burned out; definitely burned out in December!

I ran 5 half marathons and 1 full this year-

Hilton Head 1/2, February 9th- 1:55:58


Augusta 1/2, February 24th- 1:58:43


Palmetto Bluff 1/2, March 10th- 1:52:36


Nashville 1/2, April 27th- 2:00:06


Chicago full, October 13th- 4:33:05


Savannah 1/2, November 9th- 2:02:14


Goals for 2014:
No marathons- mainly because of the training
The Runners World Hat trick- 5k, 10k, 1/2 in one weekend (October)
Run 1,000 miles (93.6 more than 2013)
Continue to log my miles
No injuries, stretch more, cross train
Do more fun runs!
